Board Holding and Breaking Workshop

One of the requirements for passing a belt test is to perform a break of one or more boards using a foot or hand technique.  A successful break relies on understanding the proper breaking techniques.  Equally important is understanding the proper techniques for holding the boards.  Kim’s Academy is offering a workshop to demonstrate these techniques.

When:  Saturday, February 29th, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:30pm
Location:  Kim’s Academy Main School, located at 1617 S. Longfellow in Wichita, KS
Cost: Free
Instructor:  Master Alicia Looney

This event is open to all Kim’s Academy students.  Instructors are encouraged to attend for the benefit of your students who may be attending and also to gain insight into helping students with board breaking in the future.  You can download a flier for the event here.
